slide scan from the NK collection. - Transeuropa acquired seven Friendships from IBERIA and operated them from 1980 until they suspended operations in February 1982; all of the Fokker 27s were taken over by AVIACO. EC-DBN, originally a Garuda Indonesia aircraft and seen here still wearing the basic IBERIA colour scheme, was finally flown by CUBANA as CU-T1293 and scrapped at Havana in the late 90ies.

This Aviaco F-27 was one the eight that the Spanish airline sold to Cubana in 1994. They were revised and prepared with additional fuel tanks for the long ferry flight across the Atlantic. This photo shows EC-DBN departing to Havana. Cubana retired it in 1996 and scrapped it in 1998.
