ex East German AF 497 and Interflug DM-STP (photographer not known)

Taken when the airport was Berlin-Schönefeld in East Germany. Delivered to the East German Air Force as 497 in 1964. Transferred to Interflug as DM-STP in 1970. Reregistered as DDR-STP in 1981 then D-AOAQ in 1990. To BerLine in 1992 then to Air Ukraine as UR-75475 in 1993. To Kryla in 1999 then to Alada as D2-FAM by 2003. Last noted at Luanda in 2003. Probably scrapped.

K25 slide scan. Delivered 1964 as Il-18V 497/DM-VAZ to East German Air Force. Transferred to Interflug as DM-STP 1970. Modernized to Il-18D late seventies. Reregistered DDR-STP 1981, converted to calibration aircraft in grey colours, nicknamed "The Grey Mouse" displacing the last Il-14 DDR-SAL. Reregistered D-AOAQ 1990, Berline 1991. Kryla UR-75475 (2) 1993, in service with Air Ukraine same year until 1998. Kryla 1999, Alada D2-FAM 2002. Last noted Luanda 2003.

A few years before being sold to the Ukraine, this aircraft was used as a calibrator, operated by INTERFLUG as DDR-STP in all grey colours. Thereafter, BerLine operated it as D-AOAQ during 1992.

BerLine acquired five Il-18s from Interflug and operated them between 1991 and 1994, when the airline had to cease all operations. D-AOAQ was sold as UR-75475, and was last reported as D2-FAM in Angola in 2010.
