The prototype Avro 748 demonstrating a single engine overshoot and noticeably using right rudder to counteract asymmetric thrust. It first flew in June 1960 and was later rebuilt into the HS748MF prototype as G-ARRV (c/n 1548). Scrapped at Woodford (EGCD) in April 1969.
