Sold in 1991 and became G-BUCM. On very long term restoration to airworthy state at Duxford with TFC.

Built in 1949 and served with several squadrons including 811 Squadron aboard HMS Warrior. Retired in 1959 and displayed at Lossiemouth. After further display at Hendon it was sold in 1991 becoming G-BUCM.

Former Royal Navy Sea Fury VX653 under slow rebuild with The Fighter Collection. It was registered G-BUCM 26 Feb 1992.

According to TFC: It was placed on display at the Royal Air Force Museum from 1972 before being acquired by the Fighter Collection and it was moved to Duxford in November of 1991. It has always been displayed in the TFC hangar at Duxford since that time, with minimal maintenance being carried out on it until the early part of 1996, when it was moved to the rebuild side of the hangar and restoration work started. Currently it is waiting in the restoration queue. It was registered G-BUCM on 16 Feb 1992.

This classic was static on the flightline in 1995. It is under rebuild to flying condition, but far from ready to fly...

Built in 1949. Displayed at Lossiemouth's 1970 open day wearing incorrect serial XV653 which was a Westland Sea King. Now G-BUCM.
