Built in 1945, SOC at Woodvale in July 1954 and displayed at Hucknall until August 1957 when moved for display at RAF Andover. Allocated maintenance serial 7758M and moved to Benson in 1962. The aircraft then had mixed fortunes for many years being used as a parts source in the Battle of Britain film, as a traveling exhibit with 71MU at Bicester, as a gate guard at Benson and several years in storage with the RAF Museum at various locations. Restored at Cosford in 2010 and loaned for display in Kuwait in 2013, returning to Cosford in 2019.

RAF Benson's gate guard as 7758M, replaced in November 1989 by a plastic replica Spitfire. Moved to RAF Hendon for storage, and then to RAF Cosford on 2 November 2010 for restoration and display. It was loaned to Kuwait in April 2013 for an indefinite period, and returned to Cosford by March 2020.

Built late-1945 and struck off charge 16 July 1954. To RAF Andover for display August 1957, then to RAF Benson as gate guardian 28 August 1962 (it being replaced at RAF Andover by Spitfire LF.XVIe RW388). Loaned for use in the 'Battle of Britain' film 1967.
