2/45: TOS USAAF as B-25J, assigned to 3014th BU, Douglas Field, AZ. 11/45: 3502nd BU, Chanute Field, IL, and redesignated at TB-25J. 8/48: 3345th Technical Training Wing, Chanute AFB, IL. Circa 1954: Converted to TB-25N. 4/58: Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, for storage. 15 Jan 1960 to 1968. Went through several owners registered N9452Z. 6/68 to 4/72: Tallmantz Aviation, Orange County, CA. (All during this time the plane was still in its original USAF markings.) 9/68 to 1969: Used in Mexico for the movie "Catch-22". 4/72: USAF Museum and placed in storage. 1987: Maxwell AFB, AL, air park.

This is actually TB-25N USAAF s/n 44-30649 marked as B-25C 42-53373. 44-30649 was TOC with the USAAF as a B-25J in February 1945. Converted to a TB-25N in 1954, and SOC in April 1958. Sold surplus on 15 January 1960 and registered N9452Z. In April 1972 Frank Tallmantz traded this a/c and several others to the USAF Museum in exchange for a B-17. In 1987 it went on display at the Maxwell AFB Air Park where is still resides.
