This was the genuine C-119 N3003. Built for the RCAF as 22106 in 1952. Sold as N3003 in 1970. To Hawkins and Powers Aviation in 1976 and used for parts at Greybull. Registration N3003 had been removed before I took this photo. Another C-119 was painted as N3003. This C-119 was removed from Greybull by 2006. Probably scrapped.

Ex RCAF aircraft pretty well stripped of all useful parts by owner Hawkins & Powers Aviation. At the time two of the C-119s at Greybull were marked as N3003, this being one of them. The other was in bare metal with a jet pod mounted on its roof.

Ex Royal Canadian Air Force 22106. Stored at Greybull and still also faintly wears the titles of their Air Transport Command on lower fuselage. Registration N3003 was hand painted on the tail booms (no longer visible at the time of this photo).
