The Museu Asas de um Sonho (Wings of a Dream Museum) or better known as TAM Museum existed from 2006 to 2016. One of the exhibits was this former Brazilian navy SH-3B Sea King. The Sikorsky-built helicopters are called subtype SH-3B in Brazil, whereas the Agusta-built helicopters are called SH-3A.

Up from nearby Whibey Island NAS in Oak Harbor, WA, this Seaking was doing double duty providing standby rescue service at the 1988 Abbotsford International Airshow. The US Navy retired the helicopter in 1996 and it was transferred to the Brazilian Navy as N-3030. Retired again ten years later in 2006, it made it's way to be an exhibit at the Museu TAM by 2008 in São Carlos, Brazil. Sadly, that beautiful private museum closed to the public in February 2016 due to budget constraints.
