Slide is dated 1982, but as we have at least two photos in the database showing N496WC in Wien Air livery dating May 1981 and September 1982, it is likely this picture has been taken shortly after cargo conversion. Any help on date and/or location is appreciated.

Parked on the ramp at Reeve Aleutian's Anchorage base. Delivered new to United Airlines in 1966 as N7410U. Re-registered in 1981 as N496WC with Wien Air Alaska, then United Parcel Service (UPS) and then Flying Tiger Line. Joined Reeve Aleutian at the end of 1983 and served until 2001. Transferred to Air Gemini as S9-BAR, operating for the United Nations.

Built in 1966 for United Airlines and served with Reeve from 1984 until 2001. Since then it has been operated by Air Gemini for the United Nations as S9-BAR out of Luanda, Angola. Here it is getting maintenance at the Air Canada base.

First N7410U with United from 9.66 and obtained by Wien two months before this shot, the aircraft went on to Reeve Aleutian as N832RV in 12.83. Sold to Air Gemini in 5.01 as S9-BAR and was flying in southern Africa for the UN in their marks; noted all white in early 2007
