O2U-2 serial number 303 was Initially commissioned in May 1934, however in 1936 the U.S. Coast Guard adopted a new serial number system, consisting of the letter "V" followed by a three-digit number and this aircraft became V119. The "19" indicated that this was the 19th aircraft acquired by the USCG. This aircraft saw service until April 1937.
