This 727 had only a short career with Western Airlines. Delivered March 24, 1979, the airtcraft was sold to UPS - United Parcel Service in September 1985 and converted to a freighter. It was operated by Ryan International Airlines (N210UP) until UPS formed their own airline in 1988. Retired by UPS in 2001, it was stored at Goodyear, AZ until sold to Transmile Air Services (9M-TGE) in August 2002. Leased to Asia Avia Megatama (PK-TMA) in 2007, it returned to 9M-TGE in 2017 with Raya Airways. Retired circa 2017 it's preserved with another 727 at the Twin Jets Resort in Lenggeng, Malaysia.
