In 2019 Draken International donated this MiG-21 to the NMNA. It is ex Polish 9735 and has been painted in Iraqi colours as part of the story of the Navy's downing of two Iraqi Air Force F-7As (Chinese-built MiG-21s) by two F/A-18C Hornets from the USS Saratoga at the start of Operation Desert Storm on 17 January 1991. One of those Hornets, BuNo 163508, is displayed alongside. Interestingly the serial painted in Eastern Arabic on the MiG is taken from the last three of the true Polish identity
