The MiG-25RBF is a single-seat dedicated Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) jet fighter with NATO reporting name FOXBAT-D. It is equipped with the Shar-25 ELINT system. It is still is able to carry bombs. The MiG-29s of the 931.OGRAP were withdrawn in July 1992. They went to Shatalovo air base in the Russian Smolensk region. The RBF type was withdrawn from Russian service in December 2013.
