Delivered new to CP Air as C-GCPB on 08 Apr 1975. To Dan-Air London as G-BKNG on 01 Feb 1983 and reregistered to G-NROA on 12 Apr 1984. Back to Canada with Conifair-Royal Airlines as C-GRYR on 02 Nov 1994. To Air Canada Express as C-FACK in Apr 1999. Converted to a freighter and noted with Cargojet on 17 Nov 2005. To Allied Air Cargo of Nigeria as 5N-JNR on 12 Apr 2006. Noted at Lagos on 28 Mar 2014 PWFU.

Joined Dan-Air's fleet in February 1983, and re-registered G-NROA (still with Dan-Air) in April 1984.

Arriving at CP Air in 1975 with sister ship C-GCPA, the Empress of Los Angeles was sold to Dan Air in February 1983. With deregulation and the lifting of restrictions on transcontinental flights in place to protect government owned Air Canada, CP Air were concentrating on the Boeing 737 and more "hub and spoke" flights.

CP Air C-GCPB when delivered. Also operated with Dan-Air both as G-BKNG and G-NROA prior to joining Royal Airlines. Later C-FACK Air Canada Express and 5N-JNR Allied Air Cargo. Noted stored in Lagos 2014 (in DHL c/s).

The "Empress of Los Angeles" was leased to Alaska Airlines May to September of 1982. Delivered to CP Air April 8, 1975, it was sold to Dan Air (G-BKAG) February 1983. With deregulation and CP Air expanding with more routes and frequencies, the airline decided to concentrate on a 737 domestic fleet and the small two airplane 727-200 fleet was sold. This one is with Allied AIr (5N-JNR) flying for DHL Aviation Africa, although stored, at the time of uploading.
