Long term storage at Chandler Memorial airfield. In very faded US Navy livery. Has number 12 on nosewheel door but is reported to be N44915.

Delivered to the USAAF as C-54D 42-72749 then transferred to the US Navy as R5D-3 56528 in 1945. Redesignated as a C-54Q in 1962. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code 3C033 in 1966. Sold as N67035 then to Biegert Aviation in 1975. Reregistered as N44915 in 1976. Used for parts at Chandler-Gila River Memorial. Nose only left by 2006. Nosewheel door appears to have been swapped with the one from N44912.

Initially Falcon Field, Chandler Memorial from 1980. Remained unused in ex USN colours. First wheeled aircraft to land at McMurdo, Antarctica 20 December 1955. Efforts to preserve this historically important aircraft failed and it was scrapped in 2006, the nose section surviving in private ownership.

When International Air Response (formerly T&G) moved their base of operation from Chandler Memorial to Coolidge Municipal Airport, they scrapped many of the redundant propliners that had been stored on the field. The nose section of this DC-4 was saved, probably for a collector.

One of five DC-4's stored by Biegert at Chandler. This aircraft was parked away from the other four and appears to have been a spares airframe.
