Making a late morning arrival at the mouth of the Campbell River and taxiing past Painter's Lodge Resort on the far shore. In 2015 repainted into an overall black and white colour scheme representing a killer whale in order to promote the "Wild Orca"organisation, founded by two Kenmore pilots to support these animals inhabiting local waters.

Taxied out from Campbell River into the open waters of Discovery Passage and is well into its takeoff run to head back south again. Quadra Island forms the backdrop for its spirited departure.

Washington state non-profit organization Wild Orca was founded by two Kenmore Air pilots in 2014. Their mission is to to save southern resident killer whales from extinction. Kenmore Air painted up N606KA as a flying wild orca ambassador.

Although the orcas have concluded their marketing arrangement with Southwest Airlines, they've decided to team up with Washington-based Kenmore Air to similar effect.

Otter turned orca! Incredibly this airframe first flew 64 years earlier in 1954.

Originally delivered to the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1954, this Otter was donated to the Indian Air Force in 1963. Returning to Canada in 1993, it was bought by Kenmore Air in 1995 to be rebuilt and converted to turbine by 1999.
