World's only original airworthy Peashooter at Planes of Fame Air Museum. The P-26 was USAAC's first all-metal monoplane fighter aircraft. The Model 248 first flew on 20 Mar 1932 and was a blend of old and new. Compared to biplanes, the new fighter had higher takeoff and landing speeds, which did much to bring paved runways. This P-26A was flown by USAAC in the Panama Canal Zone. It was acquired in 1957 from Fuerza Aérea Guatemalteca. It wears the colors of 95th PS "Kicking Mule", 17th PG at March Field.

This Peashooter was TOC by the USAAF in (approx) 1933 as 33-0123 and subsequently transferred to the Fuerza Area Guatemalteca with serial 0672. Now on display at the Planes of Fame museum.

P-26A Peashooter ex USAAC 33-123 operated by Planes of Fame at Chino California. It gave a noisy display at the 2014 Flying Legends event at Duxford.
