Still wearing an Air Polynesie colour scheme, F-GGPN visited Munich on a flight for its new operator Uni Air. Nearly ten years after this visit, the aircraft was sold to Ecuador as HC-BXC. It flew for Austro Aero and was retired at Cuenca after a few years - and is probably still existant, it was last seen there in derelict condition in 2021.

A "must see" that was on my list. This Fairchild of the defunct Austro Aéreo resting since 2003 in this parking lot next to the Mariscal La Mar Airport in Cuenca. As we can read in the green label, it has been confiscated by the IESS (Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security) due to a coercive trial. Behind you can see the tail of Tame HC-COX which is stored at the airport after it crashed there in 2016.
