These 'Flying Pencils' are nocturnal and usually parked during the day where they can't be got at, so it was a lucky break to see this one parked by the fence. First registered in Australia on 10 December 1996, this 1983-model was formerly N3113T and N567UP.

The Expediter is a purpose-built freighter with strengthened floor. This one was built in 1983 and registered N3113T, later going to United Parcel Service as N567UP. It was one of three Expediters obtained by Pel-Air in 1996 and was re-registered VH-EEP on 10 December that year. This shot shows it retired at the Rex maintenance base (Rex owns Pel-Air) awaiting disposal.
