Taken from Myrtle Avenue. First flight 08 Mar 1972. Delivered to British European Airways as G-AWZP on 21 Mar 1972. Merged into British Airways 01 Apr 1974. WFU and stored at LHR Oct 1985. Broken up Jun 1986. The nose was preserved at the Manchester Museum of Science and Technology 12 Jun 1986.

This 3B was originally delivered to BEA in March 1972 and in April 1974 merged into the British Airways fleet. The frame was wfu at Heathrow (EGLL) October 1985 and scrappedin June the following year. The nose/cockpit section was originally preserved at the Manchester Museum of Science & Technology, but after deciding that they didn't like aircraft the nose was re-located to the DAHC in February 2022.

Interior Flight Deck of Nose section of G-AWZP that was scrapped in 1985 and exhibited in The Manchester Science and Technolgy Museum - Air and Space Hall. This has now closed, and the nose section was relocated to the de Havilland Aircraft Museum in February 2022.

The nose section of this Trident was saved when G-AWZP was scrapped at Heathrow in 1985. The Manchester exhibition has now closed and the nose section has been relocated to the de Havilland Aircraft Museum in Hertfordshire.
