This and its cousin MiG-15, VH-EKI, were at Adelaide Airport for a time in late 1999 as a joy flight venture. Due to various issues the venture never came to fruition and both aircraft left Adelaide to be stored elsewhere. Photos of each from 2009 show they were at Bathurst, NSW at that time in a very different livery.

It's funny what you find just sitting around at country aerodromes! This former Polish Air Force aircraft arrived in Australia and was stored, disassembled, at Bankstown in 1994-5. It was registered VH-REH(6) on 4 April 1995. I've never seen it before and by the look of it, it doesn't fly very often.
