This 737 would merge into the First Air fleet when NWT was bought in 1997. The aircraft suffered a hard landing at Yellowknife on May 22, 2001. Although able to taxi to the ramp with a burst nose wheel tire, it was deemed uneconomical to repair and written off.

This is former N4951W, a 737 delivered to Wien Air Alaska May 14, 1975. After Wien closed down in the summer of 1985, the aircraft went to Air Cal in November and was absorbed into American Airlines in the merger of July 1987. Northwest Territorial bought the 737 in February 1989, but was subsequently bought themselves by First Air in 1997 and merged. Damaged in a bounced hard landing at Yellowknife May 22, 2001, it was deemed uneconomical to repair.
