To Jet East in 1987 and converted to a freighter in 1988. then to CF Air Freight in 1989, Express One in 1992 then to Emery Worldwide in 1994. To Angola Air Charter as D2-FCK in 2000. Crashed in Angola in 2001.

South African Airways named its 727 fleet after the nation's main rivers. Tugela is one of the major rivers with source in the Drakensberg mountains flowing to the Indian Ocean. ZS-SBA is here seen at SAA's technical area at JNB with a company 707 and a 737 in the background.

Acquired by Pan Aviation in Jun 82 ex South African Airways ZS-SBA. Leased immediately to Liberia World Airlines as EL-AIY. Presumably returned to Pan Aviation by the above date. Re-reg N92GS Jan 83 and then N94GS Nov 84. Following further ownership changes it ended up in Angola as D2-FCK with Angola Air Charter. Damaged beyond repair in a landing accident at Nzagi Airport (more of a dirt strip), Angola, 10 May 2001.
