Delivered to Swissair as HB-IFW in 1969. To Airborne Express as N931AX in 1984 who were renamed to ABX Air in 2003. To Stars Away as ZS-DBH in 2007, then to Uniworld Air Cargo as 5Y-DBH and reregistered as HP-1813UCG in 2014 . Sold as N33CJ then to Aeronaves TSM as XA-UZJ in 2017. Still in service in 2023.

Swissair had a scheduled cargo flight to Glasgow in the mid-1970s, using their single DC-9 freighter.

slide scan from the NK collection. - The one and only Swissair Cargo DC-9 - and the last of all Swissair DC-9-30 airframes which is still flying in 2021! Active with Aeronaves TSM as XA-UZJ, 52 years old.

Swissair took delivery of this DC-9 in October 1969 as HB-IFW. Converted to a freighter, it was used by Airborne Express (ABX Air after acquisition by DHL in 2003) for their express and cargo delivery service. Later flying freight with Stars Away Aviation (ZS-DBH) 2007 - 2014, Uniworld Air Cargo (HP-1813USG) 2014 - 2017, the aircraft has been with Aeronaves TSM (XA-UZJ) since June 2017.
