A recent replacement for their retired CL-215s. On detachment on "back-filling" duty, reinforcing the Fire Service in Ontario, which was experiencing a higher Forest fire threat at that point.

Owned and operated by Buffalo but wearing NWT government titles and logos only. Left Buffalo for Longview Aviation services late 2017, likely to be converted into a CL-415.

One of six Buffalo CL-215s that went to Viking Air (managed by Longview Aviation Asset Management) to be converted into CL-415EAFs. By 2019, this one's NWT titles and logo had been replaced with those of the new owner and a badge promoting the new type. At the photo date, it carried no visible Buffalo markings.

Eight new Air Tractor Fireboss aircraft replace Northwest Territories' Canadair CL-215 fire fighting fleet. Tanker 43 has been outfitted and checked out by Conair before delivery. The aircraft will be operated by Buffalo Airways under contract for the province.
