Ex 5Y-AMU, G-51-251. Re-engined with experimental Dowty-Rotol ducted fans, fitted in 1977 by Miles at Shoreham, in an attempt to reduce noise levels both inside and outside the aircraft. It apparently did reduce noise levels by 20 dB. Re-registered as a conventional BN2A-27 G-HGPC on 2 May 1984, and cancelled on 3 April 1989 on sale to Guyana as 8R-GGU. Damaged beyond repair in September 1994 in an accident in Guyana.

The 542nd and last Dove off the production line was built in 1967. It had a short life, crashing at Wolverhampton on April 9, 1970. In the background is Britannia Airways' new Boeing 737 hangar under construction. Later painted bright orange and used by easyJet.
