Previously N291EX, N16DA and N25DA before coming to Canada in May 1990, Resource Air operated this Islander from July 1990 - Jun 1994. The aircraft went to Air Marshall Islands as V7-0009 in 2000, then in 2003, to Unity Airlines registered YJ-009 in Vanuatu. On July 28, 2018 an ATR-42 making an emergency landing at Port Vila-Bauerfield Airport lost control and departed the runway colliding with the Islander which was parked. The aircraft was destroyed and the crew and passengers of the ART-42 evacuated their aircraft without injuries.

Built in 1952, this Beaver was originally with the Fuerza Aérea de Chile with serial FAC 912. Withdrawn in 1969, the aircraft made it's way to Canada in 1970 as CF-CQP. Resource Air owned it March 1991 - December 1995. It is current on the Canadian register with a private owner at the time of uploading.
