One of swiss operator Helimission's goal is to support and conduct disaster relief flights. For that, it procured this 1990 built Agusta-Bell 412 in March 1992 (from swiss operator BOHAG). Assigned to Helimission's relief wing "SOS Team", the idea was to ship relief goods, material and medical field clinics (packed in containers) by commercial airfreight to areas struck by disaster, while the AB412 would follow within days to distribute said aid material. In the end, the heli proved to be too big and only saw "action" in Albania (1992) and in the aftermath of the genocide in Ruanda (1994).

Foundation Helimission bought this AS350 from Eurocopter Malaysia (ECM) in August 2005. It was overhauled and fitted to the Helimission utility standard by ECM in Kuala Lumpur, where it is seen here before being shipped to Switzerland. The heli still carries the previous indonesian registration from the time it was operated by Indonesian Air Transport. Previous registrations were PT-HMC (Brazil) and F-GKMD (France). It became HB-ZHQ in 2006 and later ET-AMW in Ethiopia, where it served with Helimission till 2016. Back in Switzerland an re-registered to HB-ZHQ at the time of upload.

LN-OAC is shown here shortly before receiving a 12 Year Inspection, overhaul and a new livery for it's new destination Indonesia, where it is operated by Helimission's subsidary HELIVIDA Indonesia as PK-HCG.

Ex PK-FGM (with Pelita Air Service), bought by Helimission in 2002 and based at Palangka Raja, Kalimantan. After the tsunami in late December 2004, Helimission deployed this helicopter to Banda Aceh to help in the relief efforts. Sold to Aviastar on April 27, 2006 and registered PK-BRC. On November 28, 2006, this helicopter crashed into the sea during a ferry flight between Manokwari and Nabire in West Papua with loss of both crew.

5R-MKT was the second AS-350 to join the Helimission fleet in 1985, back then as HB-XPN. It was based in Cameroon between 1986 and 1997. It spent a few years in Switzerland before being transferred to Madagascar, where it is stationed since 2004. In 2006, it was upgraded to the BA version by Panterra in Canada.

Joined Helimission's fleet in 1983 as HB-XON, based in Zaire till 1993, moved to Madagascar in 1994 still as HB-XON, registered 5R-MVN in 2000, upgraded to AS-350BA in 2005, again to HB-XON in 2013 for major inspection, back to Madagascar in 2014 and now registered 5R-AAA. Still operational.

Swiss Foundation Helimission aquired its first AS-350B in 1983 as I-LILL from famous italian actor Bud Spencer. It was operated in eastern Zaire (now DRC - Democratic Republic of Congo) for about 8 years and then transferred to Madagascar in 1994. Registered as 5R-MVN in 2002, converted to AS-350BA in 2005, returned to Switzerland in early 2013 for a major 12 year inspection, after which it is seen here at the Helimission HQ. Now back in Madagascar as 5R-AAA.
