Setting sun at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This Sea Fury participated in the Reno Air Races from 1988 through 1994 as "Cottonmouth", using race number 20. In 2008 it had a non fatal accident at Reno, and the airframe was heavily damaged. In 2011 it was exported to Germany and registered as D-CACE, where it is in restoration.

This was the first prototype BD-10. The BD-10 was designed for supersonic flight, but never exceeded the speed of sound. Five were built, with three lost in fatal crashes. It was designed to be sold as a homebuilt kit, and three were completed as such. N2BD still exists, and is owned by Fuel Fresh, Inc. of Phoenix, Az. It is registered as N98MJ, but is not currently airworthy.

A calm summer evening at Airventure 1994. This F6F has been modified with a second seat and three small windows on either side. It is now in the Erickson Aircraft Collection in Oregon and still airworthy.
