At the time of this photograph fixed wing aircraft were allowed to land inside the Silverstone race circuit on what was one of the old WWII runways, and this Navajo had brought in passengers to attend the 1985 British F1 Grand Prix which was held there on the day. The aircraft was cancelled from the British register on 12th August 1983 and transferred to the USA marks N91RS.

This aircraft was destroyed by fire on 11th June 1986 after it suffered engine failure due to a fuel leak, and force landed close to RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, catching fire on impact; thankfully all three persons on board escaped with just minor burns.

At the time of this photograph fixed wing aircraft were allowed to land inside the Silverstone race circuit on what was one of the old WWII runways, and the aircraft had brought in passengers to attend the 1983 British F1 Grand Prix which was held there on the day. Previously G-BEMX, the aircraft was cancelled from the British register on 24th April 1990 and transferred to the Kenyan marks 5Y-YNM. It was later re-registered 5Y-SAC and in January 1999 was exported to South Africa where it became ZS-OJG, but was last reported flying in Zambia as 9J-TMQ.

At the time of this photograph fixed wing aircraft were allowed to land inside the Silverstone race circuit on what was one of the old WWII runways, and the Jetstream had brought in passengers to attend the 1983 British F1 Grand Prix which was held there on the day. The aircraft was cancelled from the British register on 18th July 1995 when it was exported to Belgium as OO-IBL.
