The North Dakota Air National Guard would retire the F-4 Phantoms in 1990 and replace them with F-16s. This one was withdrawn and stored at AMARC in May 1988. It was scrapped in 1997. Converting to F-16s, the 119th Wing changed their mission in 2007 to reconnaissance and airlift, flying the C-21A (Learjet 35A) and MQ-1 Predator.

This Skyhawk would go to VC-1 in 1990 before retiring in 1992.

This US Air Force Reserve 731st Airlift Squadron Hercules would be retired to AMARC in 1994.

This F-18B went to the Yanks Air museum Chino, CA in 2012 on loan from the National Museum of Naval Aviation.

Still current with the Força Aérea Brasileira at the time of uploading, 2466 is pictured at the 1986 Abbotsford International Airshow supporting the Brazilian aerobatic team Esquadrilha da Fumaça (Smoke Squadron).

Pulled from the training ranks in 1987, this Tutor was transferred to 431 Air Demonstration Squadron. Better know as the Snowbirds, the aircraft was retired to the National Aviation Museum (now the Canada Aviation and Space Museum) after the 1999 airshow season.

VX-5 handled the operational evaluation (OPEVAL) of the AV-8B Harrier II and the night attack upgrades. This early Harrier II was participating in the 1987 Abbotsford International Airshow.

Delivered as an A-6A in April 1967, this Intruder was later converted to a KA-6D tanker. Pictured with VA-52 from the USS Carl Vinson, it would transfer to VA-95 aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln in 1991. On July 9, 1991 while on an aerial refueling mission, the Bombardier/Navigator went half way through the canopy after an uncommanded ejection firing. A successful emergency landing was made aboard the carrier and no critical injuries were suffered. A new seat and canopy were installed, along with some other repairs and it flew again for several months before being retired.

Originally USAF UC-78B Bobcat 43-32309, this antique Cessna was painted for a while as RCAF 8656. It was sold to the USA and is current as N184EN at the time of uploading.
