The second of two concept demonstrator aircraft for the Joint Strike Fighter competition, which was won by the Lockheed X-35. The first flight of the STOVL X-32B was on 29 March 2001, and the aircraft was moved to the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum in 2005 for preservation. No c/n or serial/ID is known.
