Other photos at what appears to be the same location show a Vernon II on its belly with its under wing fabric shredded. Is this a salvage party for that aircraft? The damaged aircraft looks like it is being dismantled. The Vernon I is distinguished by its RR Eagle engines mounted between the wings.
