Ex-Royal Canadian Air Force 2336. Destroyed after striking trees in poor weather near Sioux Lookout, Ontario 6-Jul-1996

Originally delivered to the Province of Ontario's Department of Lands and Forests in 1948 (CF-OBY). Rusty Myers Flying Services bought the Beaver in 1964 and updated the registration to C-FOBY in 1975.

Tied up, not at Rusty Myers' main base itself but at a landing stage a mile or so closer to Fort Frances, beside Highway 11 near the mouth of the narrows leading to International Falls. The lakeside in the background is on the other side of the Canada / USA border and part of the town of Ranier, Minnesota. Delivered new to Rusty Myers in 2001.

Originally US Army 58-1692, this Otter worked in Alaska as N90575 with Frontier Flying Service 1975 until an accident in 1979. Rebuilt, it emerged as C-GMDG in 1980 for Air Park Aviation to support mining, exploration and (during summer months) fly-in sports fishing camps. Acquired by Fort Frances Sportsmen Airways (Northern Wilderness Outfitters) in April 1985, this long serving aircraft had a Vazar turbine conversion in 1997.

On departure the aircraft taxied downwind some distance and turned into wind which was west. We watched with some interest, my chief pilot included, and we all commented that there wasn't enough room. We saw the aircraft leave the water and then settle a couple of times.now getting really close to our dock. It rose for the third time to maybe 50 feet and stalled, dropped a wing and cartwheeled. We ran for the rescue boat and were alongside the wreckage very quick. The two passengers were already in the water so we hauled them into the boat. The pilot was sitting on top of aircraft barely wet.

Privately registered 13 June 2016. It had moored up at the La Place Rendez-Vous Hotel, Rainy Lake for the occupants to go for lunch. This hotel is just south of the Rusty Myers Seaplane base. Registration cancelled 6 April 2018.

Built in 1951. Ex RCAF 1487, CF-ERM. Registered to Rusty Myers Flying Service Ltd 22 August 1967. Registration still current as of 2 August 2020.

Ex USAAF 44-47428 but transferred to RCAF in October 1944, CF-RVL. Registered to Rusty Myers Flying Service Ltd 13 May 1971. First reported stored in this condition in 2006. Still registered as of 2 August 2020.
