Ex KB124, DF387, ND209, 9125 and D-EJIG. Much modified in South Africa which included replacing the original 270hp Lycoming GO-480 engine with a 720HP Walter 601D Turboprop. While the new powerplant gave the aircraft plenty of power, it proved a handful to fly and the aircraft was seldom flown. In 2018 the aircraft was retrofitted with a Supercharged Lycoming GSO-480.

This former SAAF Dakota has a very interesting history. Delivered to the RNZAF's 40 Sqd as NZ3546 in June 1945 where it served until July 1952 when it was passed on to New Zealand National Airways as ZK-AWQ. Returned to the the RNZAF in April 1961 where it served until wftu in 1977. After a further two years on the NZ register as ZK-AWQ, it was sold to the Comores as D6-CAG as part the SAAF clandestine scheme to replenish its transport fleet circumventing UN imposed sanctions on the country. In the SAAF it served as 6863 before being converted to at Turbo Dak seen here during conversion at PRY

Former RNLAF Troopship C-11 and temporary NLM Cityhopper PH-FKB. Used on UN duties all-white in 1992 and wfu in 1996. Flew with Luft Afrique, later Luft Cargo, from 1998 until a nosewheel collapse at this airport in 2001. Logos and titles faded but still visible, same goes for registration. UN re-applied to tailfin. Reported to have been named Little Solly by the mayor of Tshwane in 2017.

Delivered to the USAAF as 44-76981 then to the RNZAF as NZ3546 in 1945. To NZNAC as ZK-AWQ in 1952. Back to the RNZAF as NZ3546 in 1961 then back to ZK-AWQ in 1978. Sold as D6-CAG then to the SAAF as 6863 in 1981. Converted to a C-47TP in 1991. To Dodson Aviation as N81907 in 1998. Reregistered as ZS-OJL in 2003 then shipped to the USA and back to N81907 by 2013. To Preferred Air Parts as N562PT in 2016. Still current on the register in 2022.

Ex SAAF 886 and ZS-NJW

Carries additional "Krokodilkraal Boerdery" (Krokodilkraal Farm) titles on the tail. This aircraft was damaged in an accident at Thabazimbi Airfield on 7 April 2019 when the aircraft veered of the runway and flipped over. Damage was limited so it may have been repaired.

Ex US Navy 137745. Last operational unit was VT-2 at Whiting Field FLA. and retired to Davis Monthan in 1978. Sold to David Tallichet at Chino in 1987 and passed through several owners before moving to South Africa by 2012 as ZU-VNM. Re-registered as N745PJ in 2021.

Seen while with Dodson Aviation at Wonderboom. Built as 43-48285 and to the French AF as 348285 in 1944. Withdrawn in 1964 and registered F-BTDE with SASMA. Sold to the Yugoslav AF in November 1972 becoming 71254 and later YU-ABV. To the Atlas Aircraft Corporation as N8071Y in November 1979 and sold to the SAAF becoming 6880 in 1981. Converted to C-47TP in 1995 and after sale in 1999, registered N330RD and 9U-BHY before becoming ZS-OJM. Flew with the International Red Cross in Africa 2006-2008, sold to Aliansa in Colombia as HK-5016 in 2013. Still active with them in 2021

Built in 1968 and registered as F-BJQK. Written off in a fatal crash when it hit power cables on approach to Marseille in 1994. Rebuilt and registered as ZU-EFD, ZU-RLW then ZU-TCB.

Registered as N738G then N8PG in 1965, N88PP in 1977, N590AS in 1992, N590AQ then N290AS in 1995, ZS-PHI in 2004. 3X-GGI in 2011 and 9Q-CNP in 2013. Damaged beyond repair in a landing accident at Kinshasa-N'Djili in 2015.

Registered as N754G then N914BS in 1964, N920BS in 1970, G-BMPA in 1986, 4X-ARF in 1995, ZS-ONO in 2000, 3D-DUE in 2001, ZS-PHJ in 2004 and 9Q-CTG in 2010. Withdrawn from use at Lusaka-Ndolo, Zambia by 2012.

Registered as N725G in 1959, 4X-ARH in 1996, 3D-DLN in 2003, ZS-PHK in 2004, 9Q-CKM in 2010, 9Q-CPE in 2011, 9S-GPE by 2020 and 9S-GAB in 2020.

Delivered to the USAAF as 44-76319 then to the RAF as KN337 and the SAAF as 6874 in 1945. To the Rhodesian Air Force as 709 in 1964. Reserialled as R3709 in 1970. Later R7039 then 7039 with the Zimbabwe Air Force in 1980 when the country name changed. Sold and flown to Wonderboon by 2001. Stored with markings removed. Moved to Pretoria Freeway Airstrip by 2009.

Built in 1960. Ex-French Army 1414. Later registered as ZU-RAJ. Destroyed in a fatal crash in 2021.

Delivered to the French Army as 1369 in 1960. Sold as ZU-RAH in 2000.
