Late afternoon arrival of a Beale based T-38A at the NASNI T-line

A USAF aircraft with probably the smallest serial presentation. Prominent and proudly presented on the tail is the 9th Reconnaissance Wing marking, but extremely small, just left of the lower part of the rudder is its serial presented as 68-429.

Black Talon to Vegas Tower: 'Holding short Rwy 01L, ready to go.' Vegas Tower: 'Black Talon, right now you are number 16 for take off, look to the left, all those airliners are waiting in sequence.' Things can get very busy on a Friday afternoon at LAS, especially if there a strong northerly winds and only Rwy 01R and 01L are in use, with only the occasional landing on Rwy 25L. At one time there were about 35 aircrafts waiting for take off clearance!
