Taxi-ing for a departure from Prestwick on the then Runway 31, probably on a summer service to the Isle of Man. This colour scheme was applied to 4 HS-748s acquired when Dan-Air finally bought Skyways International out of administration in April 1972. It formed a new subsidiary company, Dan-Air Skyways, which was fully integrated into Dan-Air in 1974.

Ex VP-BCM. Registration cancelled on 1 October 1974 on sale to Botswana as A2-ABB. Restored as G-AZSU on 9 April 1976 and cancelled on 25 April 1995 on sale to France as F-GPDC.

slide from the NK collection. - Unfortunately not the best scan quality, but the DAN-AIR Skyways titles together with old DAN-AIR colours seemed quite rare to me. The aircraft started life in Austria as OE-LHS in 1966 and ended up in Canada as C-FGGE in 1995.

Near the end of the Skyways Coach-Air era at this long-since disused Kent airport. The 748 was originally VP-BCM of Bahamas Airways in 1967, being bought back by HSA in 11.70. Later served Dan-Air and BA; scrapped at MRS by Air Provence International in 2004, registered F-GPDC
