Originally built for British South American Airways and first flown in January 1950 but not delivered and transferred to the Ministry of Civil Aviation the following month. Stored for several years at Ringway before being bought by Aviation Traders and converted, with a stretched fuselage and large rear cargo door, to a Super Trader 4B . Operated by Air Charter from 1955, mainly on Ministry of Defence contracts, before being withdrawn in 1959 and scrapped at Stansted. The fuselage survived at the fire school until 1963.

MW326 was registered G-AMRJ to Survey Flying Services in March 1952, but is seen operated by Air Charter, wearing a new 'trooping serial' for trooping flights - to Suez? To OD-ACE in July 1955. Reported damaged beyond repair at Brindisi in January 1959.

Operated by Air Charter Jan 1955 until Jul 1960 when the airline was merged into British United Airways. Converted into the ATL-98 Carvair prototype in 1961.

The Tudor 2 was a stretched version of the Type 688 Tudor 1 and 4. Air Charter operated this aircraft from Stansted on ad hoc passenger flights from 1953 onwards. It was broken up there in July 1959. No Tudors survive.

"Valiant" served Air Charter Ltd from March 1955 until the airline was merged into British United Airways in June 1960. The 'Superfreighter 32' is arriving at Ringway to pick up a freight payload.

After storage in Ringway's southside Hangar 522, this was one of four Tudors bought by Freddie Laker's Air Charter company and converted to Super Trader status with large rear freight doors. G-AHNO was named "Conqueror" and is visiting Ringway on a cargo flight.

Freddie Laker's Air Charter Ltd operated this ex-BSAAC Tudor 1 from its Stansted base between August 1954 and retirement in August 1956.
