During the mid 1980's Jetair tried to establish on the German charter market with two Boeing 727-100. Unfortunately they suspended operations during autumn 1986.

Leased to Sobalair as OO-JAA Jul to 22 Sep 1984 then back to D-AJAA with Jetair. To G-BMUE on 20 Jun 1986. To N55AJ on 13 Nov 1986. To Torosair as TC-AJU on 31 Oct 1988. WFU 1989. To N3211M on 23 Dec 1991 and used as an instructional airframe in Oklahoma City. Noted Aug 1994 and 22 Feb 2005. Broken up in Apr 2010. Registration canx on 31 Oct 2013.

At that time I was very young and this was my first trip 'abroad' to shoot airliners. I thought DUS was just about the most exotic place in the world because rarities such as this could be found.
