With JBG33 at Buchel 10 Mar 1976. Crashed at Thalheim near Erding on 26 Aug 1982 due to engine failure after a bird strike shortly after take off from Erding AB. The pilot ejected safely. SOC 28 Mar 1983.

Serial changed to 104846 on 02 Jun 1970 and based at Lahr, West Germany. WFU and stored at Prestwick on 24 Aug 1970. SOC 16 May 1972. To Denmark as R-846. WFU 1988. Currently preserved with the Air Force Museum of Southern Alberta. In the photo the aircraft has a ventral reconnaissance pod equipped with four Vinten cameras. Behind are a pair of Italian Air Force Starfighters from Gruppo 53.

Unknown photographer - no photo info. Built by Canadair and TOC by the RCAF on 01 May 1962. Based at Marville, France in 1965 and Lahr, West Germany in 1968. Crashed on 06 Nov 1969 while flying with 441 Squadron. Struck a 600 foot ridge near Leyrieu in France during a low level training mission. Pilot killed. The aircraft photo shows RCAF titles so probably shot in 1968 or earlier before the change of titles to Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). Location could possibly be Marville in France but no proof of this.

The WGAF changed from two letter three number codes to two number two number codes through 1968. Location probably in West Germany or Belgium. FX57 was delivered in June 1964. Stored at Koksijde in Jan 1987. To Taiwan as a spares source in Nov 1990.

Unknown photographer- on back of photo 153165 LTV A-7A VA-147 NE-307 USS Ranger North Island NAS. No date. Other aircraft in this range delivered around 1967. Forgotten jets has no dates for VA-147 assignment. I think its @1967-68. It was with VA-122 as NJ-2xx in 1969 and W/O on 21 Jan 1969. VA-147 'Argonauts' was commissioned as the U.S. Navy's first A-7 Corsair II Squadron on 1 Feb 1967 at NAS Lemoore. The Sqn received its first A-7A on 28 Jun 1967. Deployed on CVW-2 USS Ranger in Dec 1967 to South East Asia. Currently designated VFA-147 operating the F-35C from NAS Lemoore, CA.

Unknown photographer. On back of photo '153136 LTV Corsair A-7A VA-122 USN Pt Mugu NAS'. No date. Joe Baugher and Forgotten Jets both incorrectly have this aircraft as NJ-211 with VA-125. To VA-122 as NJ-211 in 1968. To VA-86 as NL-400 in 1969/70. Crashed into sea after launch from USS Coral Sea - CVA-43 in the Gulf of Tonkin on 03 March 1970. The pilot ejected but was killed.

Unknown photographer. On back of photo 157454 LTV Corsair A-7E. VA113 USN USS Ranger. No date or location. Possibly Alameda or Lemoore. VA-113 nickname 'Stingers' upgraded to the A-7E in April 1970 and acquired 157454 as code NE-311 and deployed to Southeast Asia on USS Ranger in Nov 1970. In 1971-72 she was with VA-27 as NK-411. In 1975 the code was changed to NK-405 and she was written off on 29 Apr 1975 aboard USS America CV-66. The Stingers are still active in 2024 flying out of Lemoore, CA as VFA-113 operating the F/A-18E Super Hornet.

VF-101 1972. Written off at NAS Key West, FL on 14 Apr 1972. VMA-331 was nicknamed ' Bumblebees' and decommissioned on 01 Oct 1992. Also in picture are another 2 A-4's plus 2 P-2E's. One is 131402 and the other looks like 128364.

Unknown photographer - on back of photo A-4C VA-76 NP-333. no date or location. With VMA-223 from 1961-63. VMA-211 1963-64. VMA-214 coded WE-15 1964-65. VA-144 1965. VA-76 coded NP-333 1966-67 . Shot down by MiG-17 gunfire south of Haiphong, North Vietnam on 25 Apr 1967 while operating from the USS Bon Homme Richard - CVA-31. The pilot ejected and became a POW. VA-76 was nicknamed 'Spirits' and was disestablished on 30 Sep 1969. In the background is A-4C 149492.

Unknown photographer. On back of photo - 149213 Vought F-8E Crusader VF-191 NM-108. No date or location. Delivered as a F8U-2NE and redesignated F-8E in 1962. In 1966 the aircraft is recorded with VF-191 'Satan's Kittens'. Moved to Marine Corp squadron VMF(AW)-232 in 1967 and shot down by ground fire on 19 May 1967 near Thon Cam Son, North Vietnam. The pilot was killed. VF-191 was home based at NAS Miramar, CA which may well be where the photo was taken. Carrying USS Ticonderoga titles which was a WWII vintage Essex class carrier used for a Vietnam deployment.

Allocated USAF serial 53-5694 for administrative purposes and delivered straight to the US Navy as a TV-2 serial 138088. Later redesignated to a T-33B. During the 1960's it was operated by the support squadron of Reserve Air Wing 91 'RAW-91 with code 7Z and carried joint Navy and Marines titles. Later to NARTU at Alameda, CA with code 6G. Retired by NARTU to MASDC at Davis-Monthan, AZ on 23 Jan 1970. Disposed of to Consolidated of Tucson, AZ in Apr 1974. I have guess of around 1968-70 for this picture.

VT-26 operated this aircraft from 1968 to 10 Nov 1971 when it was retired from NAS Chase Field, TX to MASDC, Davis-Monthan. Disposed of to Sun Valley Aviation, Phoenix, AZ on 11 May 1976.

Currently preserved in 2024 at the Stafford Air and Space Museum, Weathersford, OK in fake markings as 67-14956 / ED.

No date. Retired again to AMARC by the 90th FTS / 80th FTW Sheppard AFB, TX on 16 Apr 2007. Still at AMARC in 2024.
