Surfdale received up to three flights a day from Sea Bee Air's Grummans in the 1970s. ZK-DFC was sold in the US as N3116T in September 1991.

ZK-CFA was registered in July 1963. Photographer not known.

ZK-AVM was converted in 1962 to TEAL Super Widgeon with 260hp Continental IO-470-D engines and two-bladed variable pitch propellers. It arrived in Australia with the intention of registering it locally. But it ran into certification problems and returned to New Zealand. In 1987 it came back to Australia and was registered VH-WET. It then went on to Papua New Guinea (as P2-WET) before once again returning to New Zealand. ZK-AVM was withdrawn from use in 2000. By 2013 it was under restoration in the AvSpecs hangar at Ardmore. AT373N painted on the nose is its registration as a watercraft.
