VH-CMY was uniquely modified to allow the rear fuselage and engine to swing sideways to permit the loading of long objects. It served with Ansett-MAL from 1965 to 1968 when it was sold to Territory Airlines. It remained in Papua New Guinea until 1978 (becoming P2-CMY on independence). -CMY returned to the Australian register and was finally cancelled in 1999.
