Originally Eastern Airlines N5524, this Electra came to NWT in 1981. When NWT was bought by Air Canada in 1987, the L-188 got this new color scheme as an Air Canada Connector. The airplane was sold to Air Bridge Carriers in 1991 and NWT itself was sold to First Air and merged with them in 1997.
