This aircraft is still configured as a C-47 complete with all of its former RCAF equipment inside. It was purchased by Buffalo when all of the RCAF C-47's were retired and sold off. It went to the Alberta Aviation museum in Edmonton and remained there until just before the Edmonton Municipal airport was closed. Buffalo Joe flew it to Red Deer where it remains to this day. Recently it was discovered that this aircraft flew on D Day, making it a very special C-47. Former RCAF identity was KG545.
