Having flown as PP-SON with VASP, N42782 has just returned to re-enter the Canadian Airlines fleet. Back again as C-FCRE, it would be withdrawn from use in 2000 after the merger with Air Canada. The DC-10 was broken up at Marana, AZ in 2003.
