With Northeast Airlines 1963-1968. Acquired by American Jet Industries in 1975 and fitted with a cargo door. Acquired by The Flying Fish Co in 1981, and seen here still with that company's logo on the tail. In short this company was set up to supply fresh fish from key coastal areas to inland markets. The flying side of the company was (I believe) short lived, certainly for this Convair 880 which went into storage (first in St Johns, Canada) very soon after. Broken up by 1999. The fish market side of The Flying Fish Co. still existed at the time of upload. This photo is copyright © Danny Grew, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
