Cancelled order for TWA as N813TW in 1962. Delivered to Northeast Airlines as N8493H in 1963. To American Jet Industries in 1974 and converted to a freighter in 1975. They merged into Gulfstream American in 1979. To the Flying Fish Company in 1981. Returned and stored at Mojave, CA, but still has the Flying Fish Company logo on the tail. Scrapped in 2000.

With Northeast Airlines 1963-1968. Acquired by American Jet Industries in 1975 and fitted with a cargo door. Acquired by The Flying Fish Co in 1981, and seen here still with that company's logo on the tail. In short this company was set up to supply fresh fish from key coastal areas to inland markets. The flying side of the company was (I believe) short lived, certainly for this Convair 880 which went into storage (first in St Johns, Canada) very soon after. Broken up by 1999. The fish market side of The Flying Fish Co. still existed at the time of upload.
