This is the second F-28 flown in Canada with this registration. It was delivered to Australia's Department of Civil Aviation February 25, 1977. By the time the aircraft was sold to Canadian Regional Airlines in 1998, it was the last aircraft operated by that department, then known as AirServices Australia. Canadian North bought the F-28 from Canadian Regional in July 2001 and it left the fleet at the end of May 2012 .
