From the 1970s and well into the 1990s, before the advent of low-fare airlines, Luton, Stansted, and Gatwick received a fair share of inclusive tour weekend charters from Scandinavia. Braathens SAFE was one those operators. LN-SUM is here seen at Stansted in the first colour scheme used on Braathens SAFE's 737-200s with the red band on the windows on one such charter.
