First flight at Renton 3rd December 1977, and delivered new to Braathens SAFE as LN-SUM "Magnus Lagabøter"19.december 1977. It was one of the first 737s to be repainted in 1985/86. 24th August 1988 N71031F rr sold and leased back to finance the vast 737NG order. 22nd October 1993 CC-CYK Ladeco, april 2002 LAN Express abnd September 2004 LAN Airlines. Stored at Victorville November 2006, February 2007 N109AP rr until broken up in April 2010. Seen parked at gate 12, 735 LN-BRG at gate 14, 734 LN-BRI at gate 16 and an unidentified 732 at gate 19.

Delivered new to Braathens as LN-SUM in 1977, this 737 was reregistered after sale to, and lease back from, a US leasing company in 1988.

When Braathens SAFE received the first of two Boeing 767s in 1984, the red and blue stripes were moved below the windows. The first aircraft to receive this revised livery, was LN-SUI in 1985, but the stripes were too closed to the windows and they were moved lower. All 737s had been repainted by 1986.

From the 1970s and well into the 1990s, before the advent of low-fare airlines, Luton, Stansted, and Gatwick received a fair share of inclusive tour weekend charters from Scandinavia. Braathens SAFE was one those operators. LN-SUM is here seen at Stansted in the first colour scheme used on Braathens SAFE's 737-200s with the red band on the windows on one such charter.
